Alonissos is another calm and elegant option to visit from Chalkidiki during summer. It is the third part of the Northern Sporades including Skiathos and Skopelos. Alonissos is not a typical touristic island. There, you instantly feel the special and quiet atmosphere. Observing the colourful crystal clear waters surrounded by the rich greenery and the traditional greek architecture will inspire you to explore the island. The capital of Alonissos, Chora, is the most impressive place to create beautiful memories with your family or partner. Also, don’t miss visiting the most known villages: Patitiri, Votsi, Roussoum Gialos and Steni Vala.
5. SKOPELOS – FREE YOUR SOUL IN A CALM BEACH

You can visit the locations of where the movie Mamma Mia was filmed in 2008. If you are a fan, you should visit the Kastani Beach, Glisteri Beach and Milia Beach, the stunning rocks of Cape Amarantos and Agios Ioannis church where the wedding scenes were filmed.
6. SKIATHOS – LOOKING FOR A FUN ADVENTURE WITH FRIENDS?
Skiathos is the right option for you! Skiathos attracts young travelers offering over 60 amazing beaches and crazy nightlife. Some stunning beaches you will love on this island are Koukounaries, Lalaria, and Golden Sand. Koukounaries beach is the most organised and crowded beach and has been stated as the third most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean. It is beautifully painted with fine white sand, pine trees and crystal clear blue water.
There are many taverns and restaurants where you can try out the delicious Greek cuisine or seafood as well as cafes and bars to chill and drink your cold fruity cocktail. You can also play tennis or do watersports to feel the freedom within the waves.
On the northeastern part of the island is Lalaria Beach, which is simply a Paradise on Earth. The beach has a beautiful selection of small colourful pebbles, white rock formations and of course, extraordinary crystallised turquoise tropical waters. This hidden exotic place can only be accessed by boat, as well as, the Medieval Castle of Skiathos and the Museum of Papadiamantis, an important Greek writer who was born on this island.
